This 3D Scan project is for National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, which collects much Taiwanese lacquerware. Therefore, the institute selected 30 lacquerwares for 3D scan in 2018.

Solid Memory is a company that uses Photogrammetry technology to scan and make a real high-quality 3D. We spent 5 months making and researching this project because lacquerware has high reflective attitude. We invented new photograph ways to solve this problem, such as precise measurement photography, color correction, projecting noise map, and different material checking.

My job is mainly to process 3D models, including converting photos into 3D files, sculpting, UV, retopology, drawing textures, lighting, and converting models into files that can be browsed on the web.
